Not for sale yet
Zayeed is in preview. There is no checkout, no subscription and no invoice, and this page describes the shape the licensing will take rather than quoting a number you cannot pay today.
The shape it will take
| Tier | For | Basis | What it is meant to cover |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | Teachers, tutors, anyone | Free, permanently | Authoring, delivery and marking for an individual. Not a trial and not time-limited. |
| Individual | A serious author | Per author | Scale, branding removal, and the professional export surface. |
| Team | A department | Per author | A shared item bank, roles, collaboration and analytics. |
| Institution | University, board, corporate | Per candidate | SSO, LTI, access arrangements, audit trail and support. |
| Self-hosted | Government, air-gapped estates | Annual licence | On-premises deployment and source escrow. |
| OEM / embed | Publishers, courseware vendors | Negotiated | White-label player and an engine licence. |
Two commitments that are already firm
The free tier will not be a trial. The grading engine is one engine; there is no version of it with the marking turned down. Whatever is free will stay free rather than expiring into a paywall.
Your questions stay yours. Every shell can export a complete item bank in the clear — unencrypted .mcq, QTI 3.0 or CSV — offline, from any tier including the free one. That is enforced by a build gate, not by good intentions: if the export stops working the build fails.
Regional pricing
Purchasing-power-parity pricing across South Asia, Africa and Southeast Asia is the intended structure, for the straightforward reason that the product is built at local cost and sold globally. It is not in force today, because nothing is.
If you are an institution reading this early
Design-partner terms are the useful conversation to have now. If you are willing to be an early reference site, talk to us — that is a real offer, unlike the prices.

Still deciding?
The fastest way to judge a marker is to try to break it. Run a paper, answer it badly on purpose, and read the reason next to every mark.
